All
hail the Great NBCi which offers unlimited space and
free web sites! I wrote several sites with
different services. This ISP, combo
Netizen-type services has all the features I find
attractive...free webpages, unlimited storage space
and structured freedom to express creativity to as
many people as possible. If this becomes
reality and effective at plus 50% of contacted users,
this will become a real asset in profiteering and
Internet service for both the network and the users.
Anyhow welcome again to the virtual home of the Big
Island Sons, FreeHold. So far as I know, I'm
the only member on the Net. There alot of Big
Island Sons who don't know who they are or are not on
the Net. Same difference! Should I care?
No! I'm a Big Island Son or Boy:
A Big Island Boy is: ...self-centered... ...the big
bang of his universe... ...always of the male
gender... ...full of testostorone (spelling?)...
...narrow minded... ...loud-mouthed... ...always
fighting... ...boon to womenhood... ...unsung hero to
cubs... ...glorious warrior...
(Hm! I'm sure glad that this is only virtual.
I could really get creamed on this one.)
...very intelligent but doesn't show it... ...good
looking if I brush my teeth once in awhile... ...used
to smoke like Cagney... ...wears trench coats in 60
degree weather... ...wears red ginger lei that no
smell... ...eats rare t-bones and poached Kohala
lobsters... ...remembered when he drank Primo with
spam pupus... ...drinks Bud with spam and cheese
cubes on toothpicks... ...remembered when he climb
the Hamakua for opihis to get Lucky Strike money...
...now he bangs the keyboard for salary and nicotine
patches... ...expert with a Colt 45, 35cal Cobra(?),
AR-15 but hates guns... ...got good voice and some
moves but no can sing or dance... ...knows lots of
church hymns but know only Akaka Falls in Hawaiian...
...Mrs. Bowman teached us Akaka Falls song but didn't
tell us about cultural differences or island cultures
or Hawaiian culture or that we were different...
...use to tease the Kanakas from Kuekaha but now they
laugh all the way to the bank or Office of Hawaiian
Affairs... ...hmmm...just like the Veterans Affairs
people....
Anyway...Welcome Home!

hope), a better husband (I think), a good-looking computer
geek (sometimes), a better-looking SCI-FI
reader, (in my mind). Now that I have explode
the outer
limits of my credibility and permitted leash of
my controlled and mannered behavior, I give to you
the last (I hope not) and only (I sure I'm wrong)
